Ale Avurudu 4.0

Ale Avurudu 4.0 was held on 25th April 2026 at the Maithree Children Development Center, Colombo 08, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Green City.

The day was spent celebrating Avurudu in a simple but meaningful way with the children, from kiri ithirawima and lighting the oil lamp to a kavili table, avurudu games, and their own dance and song performances. The crowning of the Avurudu Kumari and gift sharing made it even more special and memorable for everyone present.

At the end of the day what stayed with us were the smiles the laughter and the warmth of being together turning simple moments into memories that truly mattered.
