Business Spark 2026

Business Spark 2026 returned for its second consecutive year, bringing together
some of the country’s most promising innovators and aspiring entrepreneurs
under one platform.
Organized by the Professional Development Avenue of the Rotaract Club of
University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance in collaboration
with the Career Guidance Unit and Middle Way Ventures, the initiative
showcased a diverse range of bold business concepts spanning technology,
sustainability, food, lifestyle and beyond.
From idea refinement discussions to competitive pitching rounds, participants
were challenged to transform creativity into scalable ventures. Culminating in a
competitive grand finale and award ceremony, Business Spark 2026 highlighted
the power of innovation, ambition and entrepreneurial thinking – proving that
today’s ideas hold the potential to become tomorrow’s successful ventures.
