Her Health Matters

Her Health Matters is a community-driven initiative carried out within the Management Faculty of the University of Colombo, aimed at improving menstrual health and supporting women in need. The project successfully completed eight months of continuous pad refill distributions, ensuring consistent access to essential hygiene products.

As part of its sustainability efforts, four sanitary pad dispenser boxes were installed across three key locations within the faculty, making access more convenient and discreet for students. This initiative helped create a more supportive and stigma-free environment around menstrual health on campus.

The initiative also focused on raising awareness on menstrual health through informational posts and articles shared within the community, helping to spread knowledge and encourage understanding.

Her Health Matters stands as a meaningful example of student-driven action creating lasting impact within the university community through service, awareness and care.
