Splash & Dash

Splash & Dash” was a signature fundraising initiative organized by the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance with the aim of strengthening club fellowship while generating funds to support future service projects and club initiatives. The project was designed not only as a car wash campaign but also as an engaging platform that encouraged teamwork, leadership, and active member participation. Through careful planning and a well-structured promotional campaign conducted in two phases, the project successfully created excitement and awareness among members and the public prior to the event. Permissions were officially obtained from the Municipal Council and the Police, ensuring the smooth and responsible execution of the initiative.

The project brought together Rotaractors in a collaborative environment where members contributed across various operational and organizing aspects, demonstrating commitment and unity throughout the event. “Splash & Dash” also served as an opportunity to strengthen public relations and increase the visibility of the club within the community. The initiative highlighted the ability of the club to organize impactful and engaging fundraising projects while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm. Beyond achieving its fundraising goals, the project fostered stronger bonds among members, enhanced teamwork, and inspired greater involvement in future club activities. “Splash & Dash” ultimately stood as a vibrant and successful initiative that reflected the energy, dedication, and service-driven spirit of the club while contributing towards the sustainability of future projects and community-focused initiatives.
