Apita api

In response to the recent severe flooding and landslides, the Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance, launched Project Apita Api to support affected communities. Conducted from 30th November to 4th December, the project brought together student organizations including the Leo Club, UOC Dancing Circle, FMF Music Circle, Sports Association, and Catholic Students Association. We raised around Rs. 5 lakhs in monetary donations and Rs. 5 lakhs in essential items, which were carefully purchased, packed, and delivered to families in need. Essentials included bedsheets, towels, clothing, rice, medicines, and hygiene products. Donations were handed over to the Rupavahini Diri Saviya Project, reaching even the most remote areas. Special thanks to our Club Faculty Advisor, donors, and all members for their dedication and compassion.
